  1. Last year i didn't do as well as i wanted but at least i finished. This year i think it will be easier for me to run all the way through because i run xcounrty now and it should be easy to do. I just hope that i don't fall down again this year.

  3. Welcome

I took this class because i wanted to get back in shape and so far im doing really good. This year I want to play soccer so I need to work on my endurance and running a mile every week for this class has helped me alot.

    Coconut Island Fun Run 2009

Last year at coconut island, I suprised my self
because I thought i was going to be the last one but I was probably in the middle of the pack and there was alot of fast runners. This year my goal is to be one of the first one to finish. Every wwek when we run our mile I try to run my mile first then run at least 1 or 2 lap so It can help me run the coconut island fun run 2009 non-stop.

    FITT Principle

    Frequency:I work out 2-4 days a week.
Intensity:Every work out I try to increase the intensity.
Time:I work out at least an hour
Type:My types of work outs are lifting weights, run.
I also play basketball and sometimes I box with my brother.

  4. This year i think that i am working very hard tords my goal for the fun run this year. I am pushing my self every opertunity that i have. I belive that i have an advantage over some other people in the class because i get extra cardio because i condion during football and then baseball later in the year. So i belive that as long as i keep pushing myself i will beable to run the fun run non stop.

  6. I am so impressed to see that the students Mr. Taketa's classes all value their physical fitness, can see how it helps them perform, and have imbedded their routines into their daily lives. I wish I had had the opportunity, training and experiences the students have now when I was their age. I also wish all students across the state could experience what this class is going through now.

  7. Coconut island run? I think that I'm off to a good start. I have been building up stamina and working on my breathing and my form. my goal for this years run is to beat 25 to 24 minutes. I don't plan on walking at all but I do pllan on bringing a family member or friend to come on the run with me ( plus for extra credit he he he). running is not the only thing that I'm doing, I also do TAE-BO. and that is a crazy work out.

  8. OMG. Last years Coconut Island run, for me, was terrible. I ran so bad but the run itself was awesome. I'm glad that I was able to invite people to run with me because that helped my motivation by a lot. This year, I want to beat my time! Last years weather was perfect too. I hope this year will be the same, maybe even better!
